What’s behind that wall? It’s Basement Photo Friday
Sep 04, 2015Sometimes it’s difficult for a homeowner to imagine the empty unfinished basement as a cozy and warm extension of living space in the home. With it’s exposed pipes, duct work and even furnace and hot water tank, the basement can be an uninviting place of industrial emptiness. The remodel and design team at Wright Works in Indianapolis, IN came up with a clever, modernist design to hide the basement equipment. This is a radius wall that runs around the furnace and water heater, wrapped in maple panels with exposed fasteners. Very nice! What do you think of this design?
