Upcycled Pallets Create Media Room Seating – Basement Photo Friday

Are you looking for affordable, creative and functional seating for your basement media room? Is it about time to expand the seating capacity in the kids’ playroom?  Consider upcycling a few pallets!

Upcycling can be inexpensive and often you can obtain materials for free.  When you upcycle, you take an old or discarded item and create something useful and beautiful from it. It’s a great way to add function and style to a space while keeping materials out of the landfill.  Recycling is different from upcycling because when you recycle something, it is broken down so it’s material can be made into a new and different product.

The above upcycled seating was created using old wooden pallets as the base.  A few cushions and pillows were added and viola! seating for all.
