Basement Photo Friday – Grab your stick and your skates, it’s hockey time!

A few weeks back we showed you a nice hockey themed basement with a vinyl floor and great decoration. Today’s hockey basement takes the basement hockey or ice rink up to a whole new level!  Basement ice rinks are made of synthetic ice and not real ice.

This hockey rink is located in a basement in Ontario, Canada. To watch the boys skating, in real hockey skates, forward to the 3:38 minute mark in the video.

You can DIY an ice rink in your basement, attic or even patio or backyard. A few retailers and installers include Kwik Rink, EZ Glide 350 and Global Synthetic Ice. A quick Google search of “synthetic ice rink” will show you other companies as well.
