It’s not often that a basement has large glorious windows to flood the space with a light and airy feel.  The creative and beautiful use of colorful drapery and artwork breathes new life and airy openness into this once dark and closed space.   There’s nothing that new drapes and artwork can’t fix.

If you look closely to the left of the finished image (and on the designer’s blog)  you’ll see that this space is not a basement after all, rather it it’s actually a small family room.
