It’s Basement Photo Friday! Reading, Writing and Arithmetic

When you think of using your basement as an actual living space, you probably think about a media room or a game room or a workout room.  There are many parents who turn their basements (or a portion of the basement) into a classroom.  As homeschooling becomes more popular and accepted, basements all across the country are being transformed.

One of the neatest pieces of homeschool furniture for your basement playroom actually comes in a can; it’s chalkboard paint!  So simple to do, just clear a portion of your basement wall, paint on the chalkboard wall paint and VIOLA! you have a chalkboard!  You can even purchase magnetic chalkboard paint.  School at home has come a long way!
