Rescon was hired to install new pre-molded expansion joints in the concrete aeration tanks at the Newburyport WWTF. The joints had been leaking water and needed to be properly sealed to reduce treatment costs related to ground water. The expansion joint system installed was the Sikadur Combiflex joint manufactured by the Sika Corporation and specifically design to perform in harsh environments.
